How to Create a User on MZone X
- Log in to Mzone X using the Administrator account.
2. Click on 'Configuration' in the left vertical menu, then select 'Users' under the 'Users' section.
3. Click the 'Add User' button in the top right corner.
4. A new window will open where you'll need to enter the new user's information. Below is a list of the required details along with descriptions.
- General
- Description – The description will be automatically filled in once you enter the first and last name, so you won't need to add it manually.
- First Name – Enter the user's first name.
- Last Name – Enter the user's last name.
- Distance Measurement – Choose your preferred distance unit, either kilometers or miles.
- Fluid Measurement – Choose your preferred fluid measurement unit, either liters or gallons.
- Fuel Consumption Measurement – Select how you want fuel consumption measured: kilometers per liter (km/l) or liters per 100 kilometers (l/100km).
- Language – Select your preferred language.
- Contact Details
- Email Addresses - You can enter multiple email addresses in this field. You also have the option to check the box next to an email address to set it as your primary email address.
- Telephone (Home) – Enter your home number (optional)
- Telephone (Mobile) – Enter your mobile number (optional)
- Telephone (Office) – Enter your office number (optional)
- Time Zone
- UTC Offset - Select the UTC offset for your time zone.
- UTC Offset Daylight Saving - Select the appropriate UTC offset based on Daylight Saving Time
- Daylight Saving Start – Select the date and time when Daylight Saving Time begins.
- Daylight Saving End – Select the date and time when Daylight Saving Time ends.
- Login Details
- Login Enabled – Toggle the button to select 'Login enabled' to allow the user to log into their account.
- Username – Create a username for the user.
- Password – Create a password for the user.
- Confirm Password – Re-enter the password to confirm.
- Driver
- If the user is a driver, toggle this button to assign them as one.
- Roles
- You can select the level of access this user will have on the Mzone X platform by checking the box next to each role. If they require access to all roles, you can select the 'Select All' checkbox.
- Security Groups
- You have the option to choose which security group to assign this user to.
- Delete Users
- If a user only requires access to the platform for a specific period, you can set the duration here, and the user account will be deleted at the specified date and time.
Once all the above steps are completed, click 'Save' to create the user.
