Updating device Firmware for the HMub 369B/F
Below is process where you use to update firmware using the "ESP Tool"
Step 1:
> Log into the URL: https://espressif.github.io/esptool-js/
> Select the baord rate : 115200
>Click Connect
Step 2:
Select the device on the comport that it is connected to as per below:
Step 3:
Once the device is connected the following will be displayed as per below:
Step 4:
Now when uploading the firmware be sure that the Flash address must be a zero "0" and when selecting the the file it must be the firmware that has been named as "merge bin" ( MHub369-6-40-V1R2B-RLS_CANDIDATE_9_merge.bin )

Click on program and it will run.

Step 5:
Once the it has finished running it will look as per below with the last row saying " Hard resetting via RTS pin ..."
this means that the firmware was uploded succcessfully and the next
step that will be required is to unplug the USB cable connected on the
devices
(Note unplugging the USB cable is not enough to reset the unit, the cable MUST be plugged back in otherwise the unit will stay in programming mode as long as there is power i.e. until the battery runs flat0
(This initiates a reset on the device) once you have plugged the USB back in you will see that the devices LED's flashing. To confirm that the device has the latest firmware you may check on the Mhub Diag.
