Understanding Roles vs. Security Groups in MZone X

1. In MZone, security groups and roles control access by defining what you can view and what feature the user is able to see or edit. These settings can be applied to other Users within the same User Group.
   

You can find these tools under >> Configuration >> Security Groups/Roles.

These tools are available to the Administrator or any User with granted rights.

Configuration - Security Groups

This tool allows an administrator to control what a User can view when they log in to their account.

1. Users - Which Users will this restriction be applied too
   
2. Vehicle Groups to have access
3. Driver Groups to have access
4. Customer Groups to have access
   
5. Depot Groups to have access 
   

System roles are roles which are predefined and cannot be changed and check box indicates if it is system role or not

1. When creating 'Roles' to assign to a user, click on 'Add Role' and browse through the features to determine which ones the user will have access to.
   
   
   
2. Once you have selected the desired roles, you can save them or choose to apply them to a user of your choice.
   
   
   
   
   

      3. You can select all the Features that you require on the left panel and then also choose which users to apply them to
